Crash

Pinch, WV- On Wednesday, April 27, 2023, around 12:40 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputy B.C. Croiser responded to a roll-over crash on Reunion Road in the Pinch area of Kanawha County. Metro 911 dispatchers received information that the vehicle had overturned in a ditch and a female was ejected.

Deputies arrived on scene to discover a 29-year-old male and a 39-year-old female had been ejected from the vehicle. Both individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to CAMC General Hospital for further treatment.

Deputies believe another vehicle was present at the time of the crash, but they are still investigating as to whether the other vehicle was involved in the crash. Based on some witness statements, deputies are not ruling out that this could have been a result of a road rage incident stemming from an earlier altercation that started in the Pinch area.

The other vehicle is described as a “burnt orange” Ford Ranger pickup truck towing a trailer and last seen traveling towards Charleston from Reunion Road.  Deputies are urging anyone with information or video footage that may help identify the other vehicle and driver to please contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.

Should you have any information regarding this case, please contact Deputy B.C. Croiser at Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, 304-357-0169 or submit a “tip” at www.kanawhasheriff.us under the “Tips” tab.
