In the last week Kanawha County Sheriff’s Deputies have seen an increase in the number of breaking and entering incidents. These are occurring to houses and particularly vehicles.
A credit card was stolen from one of the vehicles and was used multiple times. Attached are some images of the person seen using the card. Deputy C. E. O’Neal is investigating.
The person using the card is wearing a camouflage jacket and a Transformers ball cap. He appears to be a white male with black rim glasses. He also appears to be wearing gray sweatpants, socks, and slippers.
Anyone who can help identify the person seen using the card in these images is asked to call 304-357-0169 or submit a tip on our website at www.kanawhasheriff.us. Those providing information can remain anonymous.
Please take these recent incidents as a reminder to remove valuables from vehicles, whether it is locked or unlocked. Most vehicles are broken into because valuables are visible through windows. And vehicles with unlocked doors are often entered and scavenged because of the ease with which anyone can get inside.
