Arrest Made in Sexual Abuse by Parent, Guardian and/or Custodian Case

The Kanawha Bureau of Investigation arrested Johnnie Franklin Winnell, age 59 of Gypsum Lane, Elkview for the Sexual Abuse of a young female family member that occurred over a period of several years. Winnell confessed to Investigators Friday night and was charged with three (3) counts of Sexual Abuse by Parent, Guardian and/or Custodian. He was taken to the South Central Regional Jail on a $20,000 Property Bond.

 

The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
