The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program will be conducting a high visibility sobriety checkpoint on Friday, March 06 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Midland Drive near Rand, WV.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has zero tolerance for impaired driving in Kanawha County and randomly conducts checkpoints and targeted patrols throughout the year to target impaired drivers on the roads of Kanawha County.
The West Virginia Governor’s Highway Safety Program and Mobile Life Solutions have created a free app to help fight drinking and driving. The app is called “Driver Sober West Virginia” and is available at http://www.DriverSoberWV.com.
