On April 2, 2015 at 1:30 a.m. a woman was reported to Metro 911 for walking naked across the Motel 6 parking lot at 330 Goff Mountain Road, Cross Lanes, WV. A few moments later, as a Deputy Sheriff was on his way to the area, a panic alarm was reported at the One Stop convenience store at 320 Goff Mountain Road.

When Deputy J. L. Miller arrived he began searching the store and located Drema Setliff, 30 years old of the Charleston, WV, area. She was naked, but partially covered by a white towel she held. She said, "take me to jail." She was handcuffed and taken to a police cruiser while Deputy Miller investigated.
Witnesses said Ms. Setliff entered the store, attempted to or did lock the front door, then demanded the clerk open the register drawer, she put her hand in the drawer, then told the clerk to take her to the safe. Ms. Setliff then grabbed the clerk by the hair and yelled for her to open the safe.
About that time a witness known to Ms. Setliff opened the store door and helped the clerk leave the store to wait on law enforcement. Ms Setliff then went into the back rooms of the store where she was found by Deputy Miller a moment later.
Ms. Setliff was arrested for robbery. She has since been taken to South Central Regional Jail to await arraignment.
As is always the case in criminal matters the charge against Ms. Setliff is merely an accusation. She is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Attached is a mug shot taken during her early-morning arrest.
