On May 18, 2015 at about 1:40 p.m. a 911 call was placed from a residence in the 1600 block of Ferrell Road near Saint Albans, WV. The caller said someone was dead at the residence. CPR was attempted prior to medics arriving. By the time an ambulance with the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority arrived another person was found dead in the home.
The two deceased were adult males. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Autopsies are likely to be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the State of West Virginia.
No evidence of violence was immediately uncovered. There were no visible traumatic injuries.
Though families have been notified the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office does not habitually release the names of deceased persons who die naturally. The names will continue to be withheld at least until a cause of death has been determined by a medical examiner.
