Yesterday four images were distributed showing a white female and a silver car. The female was attempting to sell copper at an area recycling center. That female has been identified.
The copper she was attempting to sell did not come from the wire thefts in Chelyan, WV. There is no need to continue showing the images sent yesterday.
We are still seeking information on the several thefts of wire from Frontier Communications lines over the last two weeks. Anyone with information on the identity of those pictured or about the crimes is asked to contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office at 304-357-0169 or Frontier Security Operations Center at 800-590-6605.
