Yesterday morning Kathy Blount (61 years old of Campbell’s Creek) was last seen at her residence. Her son, Jason, was the last person known to be with her. Jason left with her vehicle yesterday afternoon and neither has been seen or heard from since.
Ms. Blount was recently diagnosed with cancer. Her son, Jason Blount, has a history of drug abuse and has made statements he would put her out of her misery. The vehicle he left in is a 2007 Hyundai Elantra sedan bearing West Virginia license plate DNT443. The vehicle has damage to the right front corner.
This matter is being investigated by the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Kathy or Jason Blount is asked to call 304-357-0169.
