The United States Drug Enforcement Administration is sponsoring National Take Back Day to encourage citizens to properly dispose of their unused prescription drugs at participating law enforcement agencies from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is participating by having Deputies at our five detachments during those hours. Anyone with unused prescription drugs can drop them off at these locations. They will then be disposed by the DEA.
