Just after midnight a pedestrian was struck on Pennsylvania Avenue just north of Newhouse Branch Road. The striking vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.
The striking vehicle possibly sustained moderate damage to the driver side. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with significant injuries.
