May 13, 2019: Updated Information on Today’s Property Crimes Announcement

Immediately after releasing the information it was learned there was an error in the initial release.  That has been corrected and the following information is believed to be more accurate:

 

On May 13, 2019 the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police and U.S. Marshal Service’s CUFFED Task Force completed a warrant sweep centering in the Sissonville area.  The sweep follows a multi-county investigation into Ervin “Tubby” Page and his associates.  

 

Neighborhood Watch groups and anonymous tips were crucial in providing information that helped detectives learn about crimes, how stolen property was being transported, and associating suspects to one another. 

 

The following list of people including their charges is a part of the operation in Sissonville.

 

1.       Ervin “Tubby” Page (50 of Charleston, WV) – 2 counts – Felony transferring/receiving stolen property, 1 count – Burglary, 1 count – Receiving/Transferring Stolen Vehicle.

2.       Jimmy (Jim Bob) Dean Holcomb (37 of Kenna, WV) – 3 counts – Breaking and Entering, 1 count – Burglary, 2 counts – Grand Larceny, 1 count – Assault during commission of a felony, 1 count – Conspire to commit felony, 1 count – petit larceny.

3.       Roy Arles Phillips (21 of Sissonville, WV) – 1 count – receive/transfer stolen vehicle felony

4.       Adam Wayne Moore (29 of Charleston, WV) – 1 count – felony transferring/receiving stolen property

5.       Samuel Dylen Harvey (23 of Charleston, WV) – 5 counts – Breaking and Entering, 4 counts – Grand Larceny, 2 counts –  Conspire to commit felony, 1 count – D.O.P. Felony, 1 count – Burglary, 2 counts – Petit Larceny.

6.       Zachary Shreve (23 of Charleston, WV) – 1 count – misdemeanor Trans/Rec stolen property

7.       Bobby Joe Davis – 1 count – breaking and entering, 1 count – grand larceny (arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office)

8.       Racheal M. Maynard – Capias Jackson County (arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office)

9.       Roy Austin Phillips DOB 7-15-1999 for one Misdemeanor count of Obstructing an Officer

10.   Melvin Page – Outstanding warrant through Kanawha County for Battery (arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office)

11.  Thayer Winnell (34 of Kenna, WV) – Capias for traffic offenses and obstructing an officer

12.  Timothy S. Jett (39 of Pigeon, WV) – Circuit Court Capias for Grand Larceny

 

The following two people were already in jail on other charges.  Warrants for the following charges were served related to this case during this morning’s activities:

13.       Kendrick David Summers (29 of Charleston, WV)-  2 counts Burglary, 6 counts Breaking and Entering, 4 counts Grand Larceny, 1 count Arson 3rd degree, 1 count Transferring or receiving stolen vehicle, 1 count Felony Transferring or receiving stolen property, 3 counts conspire to commit felony, 1 count petit larceny.

14.       Zackory Tyler Spradling (19 of Charleston, WV) – 5 counts Breaking and entering, 2 counts Burglary, 3 counts Grand larceny, 3 counts Petit larceny, 2 counts Conspire to commit felony, 1 count Misdemeanor destruction of property.

 

Altogether 72    charges were served on these subjects, and additional arrests and charges are expected, though not of this volume.
