On the morning of July 12, 2019, a search warrant was executed by Kanawha County Sheriff’s Patrol units and members of the Detective Bureau, stemming from a burglary investigation.  The search warrant was for a residence located on Scott Drive, in St. Albans, WV.  During the search they located potential stolen property and a substantial amount of methamphetamine, pills, and some cash.    The evidence is still being processed and precise numbers were not available at the time of this release.

Arrested during the search warrant were Katrina Mae Boley, 21 years old, of St. Albans, charged with one count of conspiracy to commit burglary;  Ricky Lee Clark Jr., 26 years old, from St. Albans, charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine;  James Franklin Cobb Jr., 57 years old from South Charleston, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

As is always the case in criminal matters the charges against Ms. Boley, Mr. Clark, and Mr. Cobb are merely accusations.  Each is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is always working numerous burglary and drug investigations throughout Kanawha County.  We take very seriously the illegal possession and distribution of drugs in our community, both because of the health risks of addiction to individuals and the communal side-effect of property and violent crimes that are directly related to drug trafficking.

Anyone with information on the illegal drug trade in our area can call 304-357-0169, email tips@kanawhasheriff.us, or submit anonymous information through our website at www.kanawhasheriff.us.

Attached are todays booking photographs of each individual.
