On September 6, 2019 Deputies were dispatched to a breaking and entering on Coco Road in the Elkview area. Two suspects were seen fleeing the area on a stolen Polaris side-by-side, having taken spools of wire and other equipment.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office’s Property Crimes Detectives began to investigate. Many interviews were conducted and search warrants were served.
As of this time four felony warrants have been issued on the case and additional charges may later be sought.
Joshua Myers (28 of Clendenin, WV) and Roger Stevens, Sr. (51 of Elkview, WV) are charged with transferring or receiving stolen property. Brandon Weese (23 of Elkview, WV) and Cody Bowen (23 of Clendenin, WV) are charged with breaking and entering. All four have been arrested.
