Tomorrow in Kanawha County in-person instruction continues for public school students. We want to remind drivers to be cautious in and around school zones during bell times in the morning and afternoon each day this week.
Deputies will be patrolling school zones to enforce the 15 mph speed limits during drop-off and pick-up times. Many zones will continue to have emergency vehicles with their flashing lights to supplement school zone signs to remind those passing through to watch for students near the road.
Our goal is to prevent accidents, keep everyone safe, and provide for as normal commute as possible. We hope everyone will do their part to reach that goal.
