On April 3, 2013 detectives with the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation arrested Casey Michael Givens (21 years of age) of Elkview, WV, in relation to the home invasion robberies in Pinch from February 28, 2013. Givens is the second person charged in connection with the crimes. The co-defendant, Aaron Chapman, was charged last month. Givens was charged with first degree robbery, attempted first degree robbery, and two counts of nighttime burglary.
Givens turned in himself at Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office headquarters early Wednesday morning. After booking procedures were completed he was arraigned by Magistrate Pauley who set a bond at $25,000.00 cash. Givens was taken to South Central Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

As is the case with all arrests, the charges against Givens and Chapman are merely accusations. They are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
