At about 2:30a.m. this morning, a man walked into the 7-11 Store in Hernshaw and as the clerk opened the cash drawer to complete the purchase transaction, the man demanded all of the money from the register. The clerk refused and the man left running west toward Len’s Creek Road. He may have jumped into a white or tan older model Buick car.
While inside the man held his hand in his coat pocket as though he had a gun, but he did not make threats or brandish a weapon.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, with a scruffy beard wearing a black jacket with a dark blue hooded sweatshirt under it (hood on is head), dark jeans and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and speak with Deputy B.L. Adams.
