Around the first week of February West Virginia Paving near Dunbar, WV, reported a theft. During the first five weeks of the year the business lost approximately $8,000.00 in diesel fuel from a storage tank. They had the tank inspected for leaks first, then reviewed surveillance footage and found the truck in the attached picture.
The male driver of the truck is believed to have stolen approximately 1,800 gallons of fuel during January and early February. The thefts are still being investigated. The truck is a modified white pickup.
Anyone with information on the truck, its owner, the driver, or the thefts is asked to contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy S. M. Adams is investigating.
