Kanawha Sheriff’s Deputies are investigation the report of a robbery and kidnapping from the parking lot area of the 7-11 Store at West Main Street and Coal River Road in St. Albans. The manager reported that sometime just before 9:00am this morning, he was taking the daytime deposit to the bank and when he got into his car, he was confronted by a male wearing a black and green ski mask. The suspect brandished a knife and forced the driver to drive him to an isolated area along the Coal River on Strawberry Road where he punched the driver and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
