The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program, will be conducting a high visibility sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on W.V. Rt. 61 (Maccorkle Avenue) near Marmet, WV.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office randomly conducts checkpoints and targeted patrols throughout the year to target impaired drivers on the roads of Kanawha County.
