A warrant has been issued for Christopher D. Carey (A.K.A. “Snacks”), 26 years old of Rand, WV. He is charged with one count of armed robbery and three counts of wanton endangerment in connection with yesterday morning’s robbery in Rand.
Anyone with information on the location of Mr. Carey is asked to call 304-357-0169 or submit a tip on our website at www.kanawhasheriff.us. A mug shot of Mr. Carey is attached. That mug shot was taken in April 2014 when he was arrested on another offense.
Also attached is a copy of the criminal complaint charging Mr. Carey with the offenses. As is always the case in criminal matters, the charges against Mr. Carey are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
