Last night, there were some isolated pockets of vandalism including an outbuilding burning around 8:00pm and a vacant house structure becoming a total loss from fire around 10:30. Both structures were in the Ohley area of Cabin Creek in close proximity of each other. Both fires are suspicious, as we understand the house had been vacant without power for almost two years.
A tree cut down across Fields Creek Road and an old junk car was set ablaze in the area around 1:00am.
These calls were among the notable Halloween related events and the only ones with significance throughout the entire evening and early morning hours.
The crimes remain under investigation.
Additional Halloween Patrols will be active this evening, along with Deputies on DUI Enforcement Grants and the normal compliment of Road Patrol Deputies.
