January 31, 2015: Robbery in Sissonville

On January 31, 2015 at approximately 5:00 p.m. a robbery was reported at the Little General BP store on Sissonville Drive near the Pocatalico exit of I-77. Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene.

Three white males were involved. First they attempted a purse snatching on the parking lot, but the female victim fled before the robbery was completed. They entered the store, brandished a sawed-off shotgun and pistol, and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk fled and called 911. The robbers then stole a wallet from a patron of the store.

They fled in a dark green minivan, either a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country. It bore a license plate from the State of Ohio. The three suspects are each white males. Two are of a noticeably smaller stature than the third.

They were later at another store in Jackson County, WV. Investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office believe they were about to rob that store when something interrupted them and they left the store.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or their whereabouts is asked to call 304-357-0169 or submit a tip to our website at www.kanawhasheriff.us.
