August 23, 2015: Forged Checks Passed Since Burglary

In late July 2015 a burglary was discovered on Nancy Street in Diamond, WV.  Corporal S. M. Adams of the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office began investigating.  Among the items stolen were guns, a watch, laptop, and several checks.

Since the burglary some of the stolen checks have been uttered.  Among those was a check passed at the Little General Store in Malden, WV (first picture below) and at the Foodland in Chelyan (second picture below).
