On December 30, 2015 the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office STOP (Sheriff’s Tactical Operations Patrol) Team arrested Paul Edward Glover, III (26 years old of Charleston, WV) for distribution of crack cocaine. He was arrested outside a store in the 1500 block of Washington Street East in Charleston following a drug transaction witnessed by the investigators. Marijuana was also recovered during the arrest.
Mr. Glover is a convicted felon from previous drug charges. He also had an active warrant for domestic violence from Dunbar Police Department which was served during the arrest.
The Charleston Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit played a vital role in the investigation and Wednesday’s arrest.
Attached is a mug shot of Mr. Glover taken during yesterday’s arrest. As is the case in all criminal matters, the charges against Mr. Glover are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
