David Allen Young (23 years old of Cross Lanes, WV) was arrested today on warrants for two armed robberies. The crimes were committed in Cross Lanes during two car-jacking incidents on Sunday. Additional charges may follow.
Detectives with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Charleston Police Street Crimes Unit, MDENT, and Saint Albans Police Department participated in the investigation and apprehension of Mr. Young.
Attached is a mug shot of Mr. Young taken today during his arrest. As is always the case in criminal matters the charges against Mr. Young are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
