On December 7, 2016 Deputy K. T. Carte of the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the theft of a vehicle in the Saint Albans area. A 2006, silver Ford Mustang was stolen. The license plate for the vehicle is West Virginia 9YB917.
Inside the vehicle was a wallet with several credit cards which were later used at shops near Quincy and Belle in Kanawha County. As the investigation progressed it was discovered other stolen credit cards have also been used by the same suspect. Detective J. Halstead with the South Charleston Police Department is also involved in the investigation.
Attached to this email are surveillance footage pictures of the suspect entering a store and the vehicle leaving an ATM.
