On November 8, 2017 Chad Damone Dawson (34 of Saint Albans) was last seen on US 119 near Elkview walking without shoes or a coat. He told a friend he was going to Pittsburgh to his house. That friend told his family for him.
Family members say Mr. Dawson does not have a residence in Pittsburgh, or any known ties to the area. They described him as schizophrenic. They also said he will disappear for a week or two, but it is rare for him to be gone this long. They recently reported him missing to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Dawson is 6’1” tall, weighs 185 pounds, has blue eyes and short, light colored hair. Attached is a photograph of him provided by the family.
