Kanawha County Adult Drug Court will be holding its 21st graduation ceremony on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the ceremonial Courtroom #4 of the Kanawha County Courthouse, Judge Jennifer Bailey presiding.

Since the start of the Kanawha County Adult Drug Court in May 2009, the program has graduated 115 persons and has had 11 drug-free babies delivered to mothers in recovery.  The Kanawha County Adult Drug Court is a hybrid DUI/Drug Court and handles pre-adjudication, post-conviction, Probation violation, and DUI cases.  The program also provides a Veteran’s Track for United States military Veterans who are involved with the Criminal Justice System.

Both the Adult Drug Court Track and the Veterans Track seek to enhance public safety while providing a judicially supervised regimen of treatment, rehabilitation, and intense monitoring with the goal of returning drug-free, law abiding, and productive citizens with sustainable lifestyles to our community.
