Yesterday afternoon a man was shot and killed during what is believed to have been a domestic disturbance. We are now permitted to release the names of those involved in the incident.
Thomas Parish, 44 years old of Saint Albans, WV, was shot and killed during the disturbance. He was shot by his sister-in-law, Serenity Metz, 21 years old of Saint Albans, WV. Mr. Parish’s wife, Aubrey Parish (29 years old of Saint Albans, WV) was also present and involved in the domestic violence disturbance precipitating the shooting.
All three lived at the location of the disturbance on Shadywood Lane, in the Brown’s Creek area outside of Saint Albans, WV.
The matter is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
