Today the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office participated in a warrant sweep. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and warrants of that nature were our primary focus. Deputies arrested six people on outstanding domestic violence warrants.
The United States Marshal’s Service assisted through their CUFFED Task Force. Our Warrants Division works daily with US Marshals and other law enforcement officers to apprehend wanted subjects in our region. It’s in everyone’s interest to see a quick resolution to criminal cases, even those accused of crimes.
If you have information on the whereabouts of wanted people in our county please let us know. We can receive tips through email at tips@kanawhasheriff.us, or by phone to our Warrants Division at 304-357-0157. Anonymous tips can be sent through our website at www.kanawhasheriff.us.
