Sunday night into Monday morning (July 26-27, 2020) between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. a suspect got into an unlocked vehicle and stole a Glock pistol.
The suspect then stole a gray, 2013 Ford F150, extended cab pickup with silver trim. Its West Virginia license plate number is DHK342. The truck had a red concrete mixer attached to it.
This occurred at two homes on Oakvale Road, which connects to Oakhurst Drive near Corridoor G.
The concrete mixer was found destroyed and dumped at a church at the intersection of Amber Road and Mountain Road in the City of Charleston. After reviewing footage and evidence, it appears the suspect(s) overturned the mixer and drug it from Daverton Road and Kanawha Turnpike through the residential neighborhood at approximately 1:30 a.m.
We are asking for residents in that area who may have witnessed it, or have any footage of this to contact us. If you have a surveillance or doorbell camera that caught the vehicle or driver our detectives would like to review the footage.
We are also asking for the public to provide any tips on the whereabouts of this vehicle and identity of the suspect.
The stolen vehicle has two clear lights under the rear bumper and a black metal toolbox in the back.
