On June 24, 2015 at around 1:00 a.m. Metro 911 was called about a crash on Berry Hills Drive in Davis Creek, WV. Deputy Sheriffs with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to respond.
Forty-nine year old Cynthia M. Adams of Charleston was unloading groceries from her vehicle in the driveway. Her car, a 2012 Nissan Rogue, rolled backwards and over her, dragging her as it rolled down the driveway and over a small retaining wall. Ms. Adams was killed in the crash.
The vehicle had been left in-gear and keys were still in the ignition, though the engine was off. The incident was an accident. Ms. Adams body has been taken for further examination by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of West Virginia.
